Use a variety of skills to create and design multiple art projects each day. Work with sea glass, resin, dye, wire, hydro-dripping, mixed media as well as items found right in your own backyard. No experience needed, just a positive attitude and the desire to explore and develop your inner artist. Bring a smock, 1 white and 1 black t-shirt to the first class. Dress to make a mess. Pack a light snack and get ready to have the best week of your school break.

Tired of winter? Let’s get into the sunny, summer mindset! These beachy based classes are designed for older students. Bring a friend and join us in making Seashore Art for your personal space. We will decoupage large shells, paint a lighthouse scene with watercolors, and make a driftwood photo frame.

The Town of Islip is offering the opportunity for middle and high school students to become an active member of their community. Participants will fulfill community service hour requirements with friends while giving back to community programs such as; the Town of Islip senior nutrition program, the Town of Islip animal shelter, local veteran, senior and recreation centers and children’s organizations. Participants will take part in various service activities scheduled at the location below. All participants must be registered prior to session date. Certificates will be mailed after all sessions have been completed.
